AIM For Seva is a Non-Profit Organisation in India founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati in the year 2000 with a primary focus of making education and healthcare accessible to children in rural areas. Today it has a presence across 16 states in India through 127 projects centered around education, healthcare, community development, and sustainable living practices.

Challenge

Aim for Seva came out with Annual Reports, as mandated for all NGOs, which communicated the work that had been done by the organization in the past year. For the current year, the NGO wanted their Annual Report to double up as a brochure which could be used to garner CSR funding from Corporates. However, their communication was perceived as being unstructured, hindering the funding process.

Solution

One MG rewrote and designed the Annual Report in a more structured, coherent and impactful manner. A presentation and brochure were also developed on the same lines.

  • We restructured the Aim for Seva Annual Report – categorizing their activities and content in a lucid manner with better information flow in line with their larger vision - which would appeal to the decision makers in the corporate space.
  • The verbose content was converted to infographics, tables to thematic infographics and populated with remarkable case studies to pique interest.
  • Extensive use of brand colors and bright imagery created a child-friendly look and ensured easy consumption of the detailed content around their free education initiatives.
