Velammal World Academy (VWA) is an IB school established by the Velammal Educational Trust, a trusted name in the education space with 21 schools under it. VWA is, however, one of the very few IB schools in Chennai which offer IB’s Primary Education Program.
Our first challenge was to create a niche for VWA and differentiate the brand from its sister Velammal Schools with completely different offerings.
Secondly, while Velammal Educational Trust was a renowned name in education, VWA, an IB school, was an entirely new entity offering an alternative education pedagogy. One MG was tasked with establishing VWA as a premium brand, promoting the concept of IB education and priming the parents to a school of the future.
One MG undertook an analysis and audit of VWA's partner websites to formulate a branding strategy that would set it apart from their namesakes. Moreover, we sought to rethink the brand in a way that would make it look exclusive. A website that promoted IB education was designed keeping this objective in mind.

Acting as a strategic consultant for the educational institution, One MG conceptualised a strategy for branding hierarchy and information flow was conceived based on the website analysis and audit of the entire Velammal Group, to help differentiate VWA in the crowd.
